Nicholas LaMaina
Choreographer
Nick has a deep love for creation and collaboration; they have created over 40 performed works since 2019. Whether creation on/alongside colleagues at Juilliard or pre-professional dance students, Nick is always looking to create with meaning and intention.
With work spanning and integrating contemporary, modern, ballet, tap, and more, Nick prides themself on their open-mindedness and experimental values inside of the creation process.
Through their combination of theatrics and storytelling alongside these forms, Nick creates work that speaks to the uniqueness of human experience and is a statement to our cultural and societal situations. Using dance as a means of comedic relief, artistic expression, and advocation for social justice, Nick offers their work as an eternal gesture for all.

Alongside solo work, Nick has choreographed a handful of duets/trios at That’s Dancing.
Notably, Nick has had the opportunity and privilege to choreograph Small Group Dances for the Fusion Force Dance Company at That’s Dancing.
