Nicholas LaMaina

is an award-winning dance performance artist with experience performing in new works and existing repertoire from numerous well-respected and established choreographers.

Nick has had special opportunities to attend various esteemed institutions and programs to study the art of dance which include, but are not limited to: The Juilliard School, The School at Jacob’s Pillow, and Orsolina28.

Nick has been awarded the Gluck Community Service Fellowship from the Office of Community Engagement at The Juilliard School. Nick’s time in the Fellowship has extended from the 2023-2025.

Nick is also a recipient of the Charles Chuck Kelley Award from Dance Educators of America, Grant Awards from The Young Dancer Foundation of South Florida, Career Advancement Grants from The Alan D. Marks Center for Career Services and Entrepreneurship including the George K. Jakab Global Enrichment Grant in 2024 at The Juilliard School, and Performance/Educational Grants from the YoungArts Alumni MicroGrant Program.

Nick was named a Finalist in the Modern/Contemporary category in 2022 from the YoungArts Foundation.
